Nhs Direct Blood Sugar Levels

This site is a means to share my success with using diet and exercise to control type II diabetes.  I knew I needed to limit carbohydrates and sugar in my diet and use exercise to drive the blood sugar numbers down.  The key was finding the least amount of carbs required for my body to feel okay and have enough energy to exercise.  When I started exercising, I walked.  After a couple weeks, I started to jog.  Now I do a combination of walking, jogging, and light running.  I also utilize a recumbent exercise bicycle.  It took 3 weeks of dieting and exercising to have my numbers constantly in the 100′s.  I’m usually at or near normal levels when going to sleep.
