Healthy Diet To Control Blood Sugar

This is a family variation on the “traditional” Rice Krispy Marshmallow treats. Much tastier, and just about guaranteed to wreak havoc on a healthy person’s blood sugar levels.

Q's Peanut Butter Sugar Rush Author:  Eriq Neale Recipe type:  Dessert   Guaranteed to wreak havoc on a healthy person's blood sugar levels. Ingredients 1 cup Sugar 1 cup Karo Syrup 2 cup Creamy Peanut Butter 6 cup Rice Krispies Instructions In a microwave-safe container, heat the sugar and karo syrup until boiling. Add the peanut butter and mix quickly and thoroughly. Stir in the Rice Krispies slowly, working to cover the Krispies thoroughly. Spread mixture into a 9x13 cake pan and let cool. Cut into squares and serve. Be prepared for the sugar crash! Notes BEST PRACTICE: * Add some chocolate chips, but add them last since they will melt if you add them too early. * Substitute honey in place of the Karo Syrup for a change of taste 3.1.07
