I came into contact with artdevany and then Paleo food idea a long time ago. It was way before any media mainstream and I started to do what he suggested.
Its real simple,
eat less food.Eat more natural and push fat a bit more than carbohydrates.The idea is to lower insulin level tolerance to not spike them and get the blood sugar rush people have.
I still eat Pizza, I still eat candy and ice-cream which are on the carbohydrate side eating one way don’t mean you need to go extreme.
I started semi fasting yesterday, eat a breakfast and then nothing else until next days breakfast, once or twice a week and I call this my spring training to aid in some weight loss and restrain energy output for food processing. Don’t like to semifast during winter as the cold sucks to do that shit.
Semi fasting you can do without effort, some might have insulin spikes due to eating habits are bad so some have discomfort doing this at first, when I changed to eating Paleo way it took me a month of spikes until the system calmed down.
If you alter what you eat the body have to adapt and that can take some time.
Your body is adapted to eat food over evolution, recent changes to food, corn, bread, sugar isnt what humans did eat much off and we are not evolved to process this food that well.
Why people go fat and obese?
Eat a donut it has 50% fat and 50% sugar both that kicks your endorphins into high gear and we have no defense against that type of food you just crave more of it.
So cheap processed food, mcdonalds, donuts etc…just spike your food into high gear kicks and you then want more and soon become addicted and obese.
If I was going to eat as much food as I used to do with the way I eat today I still go fat and obese as energy in wont matter even with Paleo but the thing is with a good balanced input of food your body works better.
Eat food before you eat anything with sugar in it. Why?Your insulin and blood sugar wont spike as much. Then as you get used to eat differently and you wont need to change everything but doing so slowly over time you find that what you did eat now don’t make you crash anymore.
My sisters kid has type 2 diabetes, so he use drugs due to him taught his body to stop burning in his muscles he basically made himself sick. Having such signal at 24 years of age would mean you really need to alter your lifestyle massively.

You think they apply their own technology on themselves?
Not really.
They will try to sell you that bullshit though.
So I applied RBIm for myself, changed habits, replaced them with new ones. Bit by bit I altering my lifestyle by my own technology and that’s saying something to me.
You don’t need to be extreme or become an expert to start educating yourself about food and what it does to you. I love a taco some bread sure, some meat sure and some spicy things and then some vegetables along allowing a mix bland balanced for my taste.
I follow these guidelines,
I dont go overboard with this.
Could I do it better sure but then I have to start mapping and atm this works as well I can with a load of benefits.
Can it be some discomfort?
Sure any alteration of what you eat and how much changes your biochemistry. I had one guy on facebook telling me this eating sucked and he was a body builder type and fat and obese body as eating like this caused bad reactions for him.
As I said, educate yourself.
