Blood Sugar Levels Effects Ovidrel

When it’s hot out, who doesn’t want an ice-cold beverage to quench their thirst?  Going through the beverage aisle at the grocery store will reveal a varied array of sugary drinks that will wreak havoc on your metabolism and fill you up with empty calories.

Not only do sugary drinks contribute to obesity, but they are terrible for your teeth.  Sugar leaches minerals from your body and guess what your teeth are made of?  Minerals! (source: ) Here’s a sugar-free option that will keep you refreshed and satisfied on a hot day and you don’t have to worry about empty calories and metabolism disruptions.

Sugar-Free Fruit Iced Tea Ingredients 4-5 packets of berry or fruit herbal tea 2 cups of boiling water 8 cups of cold water stevia to taste ice Instructions Add your berry or fruit herbal tea to the boiling water and let steep for 5 minutes. Place the tea mixture your (preferably glass) pitcher and add the remaining 8 cups of cold water. Now add the stevia and mix thoroughly. Add ice and serve. Enjoy! 3.1

This is a great option if you are trying to limit your caffeinated beverages, as well.  It will also not spike your blood sugar levels,  however, like all things, you do not want to gorge on stevia.  It is a low-calorie sweetener and can cause the body to crave additional sweets so use judiciously!

Live well and be happy!
