I LOVED the bright pink colour and seen as I failed to capture any snaps on the first round went back for seconds the following day. Just to be sure to be sure…it was even more amazing than I remembered a mere 24 hours later.
So incredibly refreshing…a whole food detoxifying smoothie to kick off the New Year on the right tasty front!
Beet – cleanses the liver, purifies the blood, anti-inflammatory, source of iron

That said…I’d happily have this smoothie regardless of it’s health benefits. I generally go with my gut, head later, but this time of year it is nice to give your body a little fighting boost with the chill still in the air, and the sweet treats lingering at every corner. Not that I’m about to pass them up…it’s just nice to balance it all out!
